Celine Dion revealed that she misses everything about her late husband Rene Angelil. In an interview with television personality and journalist Gayle King, on “CBS This Morning” the singer opened up about the heartbreak that she suffered after she lost her husband in 2016. Celine also added that her late husband will always hold a very special place in her heart.
Rene Angelil died from throat cancer in 2016 at the age of 73 years. When she was asked about what she misses the most about him she simply mentioned “everything”. Dion said, “Oh, everything. His smell, his touch, his way of making me laugh,Yeah. It’s like, when I’m not on stage and my fans are home and I go in a hotel, for example, I don’t have any pillow talk.”
Celine and Rene got married in December 1994. They were married for 22 years. Apart from being her husband, Rene was also her manager and he managed her career till his last breath. The couple is blessed with three kids named Rene Charles and twins Eddy and Nelson.
Currently Celine Dion is on a world tour for her new music album named courage. This album is going to be her 26th studio album. The singer also mentioned that her favorite song from the album is the title song itself.
During the interview, Celine also talked about the reason why she decided to title her album “Courage“. She said “It represents a whole new life for me, my album, the tour, the way to dress, the way to say you can’t please everyone,” she said. “I dress for me; the way I feel. I want to feel that I feel great about myself, I feel strong about myself, I feel good about my decisions with the help of a lot of people, but it’s all about courage and I think everyone should feel like that.”
